Terms and Conditions of Sale

Payment By Credit/Debit Card

All payments for orders received by MadHouse Darts are dealt with by Paypal or Worldpay.
Payment can also be made by Cheque or Postal Order sent to our contact address and goods will be despatched upon clearance of payment in to our bank account. (Approximately 5 working days).
Payments are processed with 128 bit encryption to ensure you are safe and secure buying from us.
Important: We never share or disclose any customer information with anyone outside our company/third party, because all payments are dealt with by Paypal or Worldpay, we do not see or retain any of your card/payment details.

Telephone Orders

Orders placed by telephone can only be delivered to the Card Holders address. No delivery will be made to a third party address.
All telephone orders will incurr a 2.5% surcharge for use of Credit Card.

Prices & Products

All prices and products offered on our site are also available at our retail shop at the same price.
The images used to promote and sell products are those supplied by the manufacturers and are correct at the time of product release, however items supplied with darts such as flights and shafts may differ.
We reserve the right to change prices at anytime without prior notice.

Shipping To All Mainland UK Destinations

We have a choice of delivery options and charges for all orders.
The vast majority of the orders we process are sent by Royal Mail.
Heavier items can be sent using a courier service and a signature will be required. (Undelivered items using the courier service will be returned back to us after 7 days by the courier and will incurr a £15.00 re-delivery charge).
High value orders may require a signature on delivery.
Where stock is available we endeavour to ship all items ordered before 1.30pm on the same day (Except Sunday's), however it is normal for orders to be processed and shipped within 48hrs of receipt.
Delivery time mentioned at checkout are estimated based upon Royal Mail guidelines.
Where guaranteed next day delivery is selected please ensure your order is placed before 12pm, any failure to deliver prior to or upto the designated time, the additional cost of the service may be refundable. (When selecting this option please contact us to ensure items are readily available from stock).
This service is not available for Personalised Items.
Personalised products do take longer to produce and therefore delivery times indicated alongside each product are to be used as a guide.
During busy periods of the year, Christmas and January through to March, the lead time may increase, please check before ordering.

Restricted Postcodes

If you live in one of the postcodes below and are purchasing large or heavy items such as dartboards, cabinets, mats, surrounds etc, please contact us for postal rates before placing your order.
Restricted Areas: Northern Ireland (BT Postcodes) Islands and Scottish Highlands: (restricted postcodes:) IV, KW, ZE, HS, KA27-28, PH19-44, PH49-50, PA20-88, including all addresses within the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Isles of Scilly.


All our products are carefully packaged to ensure your purchases reach you in the best possible condition.

Lost or Damaged Items

We are not responsible for Royal Mail and therefore any item that is lost or damaged in transit will only be credited or replaced following a successful compensation claim from Royal Mail.
Items are not regarded as lost with the Royal Mail until 15 working days have elapsed from date of posting.
We will forward a claim form which must be completed and returned with 90 days from the date of your order.

Out Of Stock Items

Goods advertised may not be available. If in the unlikely event that certain goods advertised are not available you will be contacted via e-mail to
arrange a refund or replacement.
We endeavour to ship all orders as accurately and as fully as is possible, however from time to time we may have to substitute or duplicate a small item you have requested to facilitate the speedy dispatch of your order. (We will never substitute an out of stock dart set, but will notify you as to when we expect to be able to ship them to you).


All goods returned for refund or exchange must be received at our address within 10 days of purchase and must be in a new and unused condition which will include all the original packaging intact/undamaged and be accompanied by the payment receipt.
PLEASE NOTE: Darts are not refundable unless there is a manufacturers fault with them. All returned darts are inspected under a microscopic light to identify if the item has been used. Any marks or blemishes shown will invalidate any potential refund.
We cannot issue refunds on used products, unless they are faulty, these will be exchanged following an inspection by the manufacturer.
We cannot offer refunds for returned orders for personalised products.
We strongly suggest that you make any returns to us by recorded/special delivery as we regret we cannot be held responsible for any goods lost in transit to us.
All carriage costs to return goods are to be paid for by the customer.
Any refund will be made in the same format as that received to purchase the goods.
If we deem that a refund is not valid the goods will be returned to you at your cost.

Cancellation Of Orders

If you wish to cancel an order you have just placed by the internet then such cancellation must be within one hour of placing the said order.
If you wish to cancel an item that was not supplied with your original shipment you may do so at any time and request either a refund or a suitable replacement item of the same value.
We cannot offer refunds for cancelled orders for personalised products.
If you cancel an order that has already been despatched and require an exchange or refund you must return the goods to us at your own expense.
You must ensure that the goods are packaged sufficiently to protect against damage.
We highly recommend that you obtain proof of posting or use a recorded/insured service for returning any items as we regret we cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit.
We will refund the total value of the goods only (not postage) on satisfactory receipt of the goods, which must be received in a re-saleable condition, unused and in their original packaging.
We will refund you using the payment method you used at the time of purchase within 30 days of receiving your notice to cancel and receipt of goods returned.
Please note - Returned goods are subject to a minimum restocking charge of 20% of the value of each item. Please feel free to contact us at any time when considering returning any product for whatever reason and we will endeavour to accommodate you to the best of our ability.
This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.

Overseas Orders And Shipping Costs

International shipping is based upon the weight of the package.
To ensure maximum protection we always send international orders using Royal Mail International Signed For service.
Our International shipping costs start at £3.50 for orders weighing upto 0.5kg.
Additional charges will be incurred if the order is completed and the final shipping weight is above 0.5kg.
All orders placed from overseas will not be despatch until the appropriate postal charges have been paid for.
Delivery times indicated for all International shipping are estimated based upon Royal Mail guidelines, due to the distance involved with International shipping we cannot be held responsible for delays in transit and local customs.
It is the responsibility of the customer to pay any local import taxes.
